Gentle companions deserve protection. A man in New Mexico who was filmed attacking two dogs with landscaping rocks has been sentenced to 18 months in prison. The court also imposed a $5,000 fine, and the offender was taken into custody immediately to begin serving his term for Extreme Cruelty to Animals.
