Justice Wins: Captain Paul Watson Has Been Freed!

Paul Watson, lifelong ocean defender, has been freed from prison!

Victory!

Captain Paul Watson has been released after five long months of unjust imprisonment.

For decades, Paul has fearlessly fought for whales and marine life, risking his own life to stop Japan’s brutal killing of whales.

Earlier this year, he was arrested and detained in Greenland — a politically motivated act tied to Japan's launch of a new “floating slaughterhouse” ship for killing whales. He faced possible extradition and a 15-year prison sentence — a clear attempt to silence his lifelong fight for our oceans.

In most countries, killing whales is illegal. Tragically, in Japan, it remains legal.

But thanks to the outpouring of support from people like you, Paul is finally free. Together, we have proven that injustice cannot win, and protecting marine life will never be a crime.

Thank you for standing with Captain Watson and for the whales he has dedicated his life to saving.

With deep gratitude,

You can help us defend all animals from suffering, and support our mission: to end the # 1 cause of suffering and death for dogs and cats – overpopulation – by developing a permanent-lasting birth control cookie that will only need to be eaten one time, and it will in effect spay or neuter – without surgery.

We are a small, grassroots charity doing the work that billion-dollar drug companies should be doing … but to their shame, they refuse ... and the animals need help.

Please consider a monthly gift of as little as $5.
