Goats Are Bleeding for Toys — Stop It Today

A child hugs a soft teddy bear from FAO Schwarz, unaware that the "luxury" mohair used in these toys is ripped from goats in a cycle of unimaginable violence.
On mohair farms, goats are grabbed by their horns and legs and dragged across hard floors as they fight desperately to break free.
Some are lifted by their tails, which can snap their spine.
Their bodies are forced down so hard that they cannot move.
Blades tear across their bodies, ripping out hair and slicing into skin.
Blood pours from their faces and ears, but the shearing does not stop.
When the skin is torn open, workers push needles through the raw, gaping wounds to stitch them shut on the spot.
No pain relief is given.
These animals are fully conscious, feeling every puncture of the needle.
Sharp metal tools punch holes through their ears, forcing spikes through living tissue.
Young goats have their horns burned off with hot irons or their testicles crushed, leaving them in intense pain that can last for days.
When their hair quality drops, their throats are slit with dull knives while they are still conscious.
More than 300 global brands, including Zara, H&M, and Gap Inc., have already banned mohair.
They recognized that no toy is worth this level of depravity.
Carl Warschausky, CEO of ThreeSixty Group, the parent company that owns FAO Schwarz, has the power to change this.
He can choose to protect animals and align this iconic brand with modern, humane standards.
Call on Carl Warschausky to end the sale of mohair at FAO Schwarz and cut ties with this barbaric practice.
Thank you for being a voice for the voiceless.
