My Dog Is On The Pill

To Elon Musk and Neuralink:  

  

I'm appalled to hear that Neuralink is abusing and killing animals in laboratory experiments. I understand you want to help people, but these tests are shockingly cruel. You must stop them immediately!  

  

I understand that over 1,500 animals have already suffered and been brutally killed in Neuralink’s laboratories. Put yourself in their place and imagine how terrifying, painful, and hopeless their lives must have been.  

  

Animals have emotions and can feel pain, just like we do. They should be able to feel the warmth of the sun and live their lives freely with their families. 

 

Monkeys should be left in the wild, and their habitat protected. Pigs are as intelligent and sensitive as dogs and should be respected, not abused. Rats and mice did nothing to deserve the relentless abuse they receive in labs.   

   

There are many other ways to do these tests -- like using cells, human tissues, computer programs, and studies with volunteers. These methods can give better and more reliable results, and animals are not harmed.  

  

As a leader in science and technology, Neuralink has the resources and creativity to come up with new ways to do these tests that no one has ever thought of before. You could save the lives of countless innocent animals. This would be a huge step forward in science, on top of your important work to help people.
