Rescue Update: Edith's Survival Story!

Edith could have spent the rest of her life suffering alone ... now she's one of our 150+ rescued Pilot Pups!

We found Edith wandering all alone, hungry and thirsty, with no shade to protect her from the 107-degree blistering sun.

At first, Edith was terrified. You could see it in her eyes.

But something changed as we spoke to her softly, treating her like family. Slowly, she began to approach us, her trust fragile but growing. And in that moment, we knew she understood: she was safe.

Edith's rescue didn't just save her from the scorching heat — it gave her a second chance at life. But for every Edith we save, countless others suffer unseen. That's why our mission goes beyond individual rescues.

We rescued Edith just in time, but many more still need help.

We're fighting to create a world where no dog or cat has to endure what she did. As one of our 150+ Pilot Pups, Edith is now part of our broader mission: to stop the suffering before it begins.

Together, we can end the number 1 cause of suffering and death for dogs and cats -- overpopulation -- by developing a permanent-lasting birth control cookie that will only need to be eaten one time, and it will in effect spay or neuter -- without surgery.

For just $5 a month, you can join our mission to protect homeless animals from needless suffering. Every dollar brings us closer to a world where every dog and cat knows safety and love. Donate $5 a month and watch your generosity transform lives.

Thanks so much for caring about animals!
