Good news: U.S. Navy ends cruel tests on dogs and cats

Dogs like these ones are finally safe from Navy laboratory tests.
Dogs like these ones are finally safe from Navy laboratory tests.

For the first time in 40 years, the U.S. Navy has made history by announcing a total and permanent ban on using dogs, cats, and non-human primates in all its medical research programs.

It means an end to procedures that caused suffering behind closed doors, including electrocution, invasive drug testing, and trauma experiments.

This moment didn’t happen by accident.

It came after years of hard work by brave investigators and passionate animal activists and defenders such as you across the country.

This peace was once unthinkable in Navy laboratories.
This peace was once unthinkable in Navy laboratories.

Thanks to their pressure, a $10.8 million Navy project using cats, including disabled ones was shut down for good.

The Navy sets a strong example that better science doesn’t require animal suffering.

Modern alternatives, such as computer modeling, 3D tissue studies, and human-based research, are proving safer, faster, and more accurate.

These cats and dogs now live free from harm, cherished as animals who deserve safety and compassion, not exploitation.

Help end Wyoming's last gas chambers that kill dogs like this one.
Help end Wyoming's last gas chambers that kill dogs like this one.

But while dogs and cats in the Navy are protected, stray animals in Wyoming are still being locked inside metal gas chambers and gassed to death.

Their lungs fill with poison before they suffocate to death.

Please sign the petition to help shut down the two gas chambers that are still operating in Wyoming.

Your signature can help push lawmakers to end this cruel and outdated method once and for all.

Thank you so much for helping and caring about animals.

If you're wondering “is EssayBox legit?” check out their reviews page at https://essaybox.org/is-essaybox-legit-rp/. I did, and I’m glad I gave them a try. Everything about the service screams professionalism. From skilled writers to on-time delivery and a clear refund policy, you get what you pay for. I received a custom-written sociology paper that my professor praised. I’ll definitely be coming back next semester.
