Did she know we were coming?

We found Eliza at the back of a residential area, near an open ground where children play.
She was standing off to the side and did not leave that spot as we approached.
Then she walked toward us on her own and let us place a leash on her.
Eliza stayed beside us as we walked her away from that area and brought her to our shelter.
Our veterinarian examined her and confirmed she was healthy and strong.
We offered her food, and once she finished, she curled up to rest.
For the first time in a long time, she stopped watching her back.
Thanks to supporters like you, Eliza is now safe, loved, and one of our Pilot Pups.
Pilot Pups are dogs we rescue from the streets, feed a trial One-Dose Spay and Neuter Cookie, and then adopt into loving homes."
These dogs are a vital part of our mission to end the #1 cause of suffering and death for dogs and cats: overpopulation.
We’re developing a permanent-lasting birth control Cookie that only needs to be eaten once to effectively spay or neuter without surgery.
We are a small, grassroots nonprofit.
Unfortunately, we receive no support from any drug companies.
No government grants.
No help from dog food companies or other large corporations.
We rely entirely on small donations from individuals like you.
For as little as $5 a month, you can help us rescue dogs like Eliza while working to ensure that future generations of dogs and cats never face hunger and homelessness.
Together, we can create a world where no dog or cat is born to suffer.
