Her name is Ali but had the nickname Ali the Albino, though she is not actually an Albino!
When we found Ali, her frail body was trembling from fear and hunger. She flinched at every movement, her eyes darting nervously, as if she couldn’t believe anyone would ever be kind to her. She was weak, dirty, and in desperate need of food.
But what broke our hearts the most was that Ali had recently given birth, but her puppies were nowhere to be found.
Her swollen, milk-filled glands told the story of a nursing mother left to grieve and survive alone.
But Ali had a fighting spirit, and we were ready to help.
We rushed her to our veterinarian for a warm bath and a thorough checkup. The veterinarian assured us that although Ali was underweight, she is now safe.
Thanks to supporters like you, Ali is now safe, loved, and one of over 150 Pilot Pups who received one trial Spay and Neuter Cookie and then were adopted into loving homes.
These dogs are a vital part of our mission to end the #1 cause of suffering and death for dogs and cats: overpopulation. We’re developing a permanent-lasting birth control Cookie that only needs to be eaten once to effectively spay or neuter — without surgery.
We are a small, grassroots nonprofit.
Unfortunately, we receive no support from any drug companies.
No government grants.
No help from dog food companies or other large corporations.
We rely entirely on small donations from individuals like you.
For as little as $5 a month, you can help us rescue dogs like Ali while working to ensure that future generations of dogs and cats never face hunger and homelessness.
Together, we can create a world where no dog or cat is born to suffer.
Thank you so much for caring!
