Hi all, hoping you all had a nice weekend and many of you get to enjoy your day off ( folks in the US) ! We here at 600 are working 24/7 and just thought I'd share a story about what the Government in Sri Lanka is thinking of doing with dogs HERE we must remember that in other parts of the world rabies carried by dogs is still a large killer of humans, and mostly children, so our spay treat will surely help this kind of problem.
Our lil Flaka that is on our logo had her Bday last week, so now that she's 3yrs she likes to lay in the sun at the bark park as our latest member Nina at just 1.5yrs was running full speed playing this weekend, so don't forget your pets love to play with other pets as well as humans, I like to mix it up for my pack we do hikes and dog beach and bark park and chill time at home.
Have a nice week!

Back in Nov I went to Mexico for the Baja 1000, we were in Ensenada and I ran into a fare amount of street strays, we also went from the Pacific ocean inland to San Felipe and I found out that they had done a round up of strays and shot them as they were getting human aggressive and I'm pretty sure it was due to being inbred, now HERE is a story about some strays in Cancun and how they are treated. Once we are able to make the spay treat these types of story's will be less often around the globe!
On a happier note our lil dog that you see at the top of this site Flaka turned 3 today.. Happy to have found her and she's loving life, always rescued a dog and NEVER buy a dog from a pet store or backyard breeder !!! The foto below is Flaka, she's half Min Pin and hal Chihuahua, 8.5lbs and Loves to run and I'm talking miles, not blocks !!!

Hi ya !!!
We had a nice semi sunny weekend in So Cal, today it's pouring, so my lil Flaka is NOT happy, she hates to get her feet wet! The party at the heater in the office is pretty much on for the day, check this pict
now this week's topic is Stray dogs in other countries as lots of our current supporters live in the US, but the reality is that there are FAR more stray street dogs in the rest of the world then here...
"stray dogs caught for being disturb residents and even had eaten resident’s cattle; stray dogs will be brought to animal and fish health center in Ragunan, South Jakarta, to be nurtured and searched for foster parents within 10 days maximum. “If there’s no one who would foster them, those dogs had to be annihilated or injected until dead,” he expressed."
Now that came from HERE and just touches on some of the major issues at hand, and how OUR spay pill will surely help these dogs!

Hi all,
I'm hoping you all had a nice weekend, depending on where you live, I myself with my 4 dogs are in Southern Cal and it was raining off and on, we managed to hit the bark park Sat so that was nice.. as you know many dogs are not lucky like my lil pack and they don't get to do or see fun things, case in point:
Brazil just discovered a HORRIBLE story about a women claiming to be a rescue, READ THAT story HERE!
When our spay pill hits the market it will help lessen these types of people and what they do !
Don't forget to help pass along our mission to others in hope they will do the same, or better yet take a few minutes and donate to our cause.
Thanx
~Rene PS. The pict below is part of my pack, the dog on the right is Mr. Pancho Villa, he was a street stray, then the dog on the left Benito was also except he was picked up and taken to a kill shelter, he was afraid of humans so I rescued him, gave him love and trust and now he lives with a nice family and a white picket fence !!! Flaka in the middle I rescued from an ad on Craigslist...

Persons aged 70½ or older can again enjoy tax savings by making charitable gifts directly from their Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs), thanks to a provision of the Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010, which was signed into law December 17, 2010. The act also allows charitable distributions made from an IRA in January 2011 to be declared as 2010 gifts, should the IRA holder wish to do so.
The December 17, 2010, law extends legislation originally adopted in 2006 and extended in 2008 (that extension expired December 31, 2009). For a charitable gift made from an Individual Retirement Account (IRA) not to be taxed as income, the following must be true: - the gift was made in 2010 or 2011;
- the IRA holder is age 70½ or older;
- the gift totals $100,000 or less each year;
- the charity that received the gift is eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions;
- the charity is not a section 509(a)(3) supporting organization; and
- the withdrawal goes directly from the IRA to the charity.
The donor does not need to itemize his or her taxes to benefit from the distribution. If the donor does itemize, however, he or she cannot also take the distribution as a deduction.
